Full or Partial Dentures
Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth and their surrounding gum tissue. We provide two types of dentures for our patients, full or partial dentures. Full dentures are a great opinion to replace all natural teeth. Partial dentures are used to fill gaps in your mouth from missing natural teeth.
Full Dentures
Full dentures are usually recommended for those with severe or chronic tooth problems to replace all of a patient’s teeth. A lack of teeth can affect your overall appearance and cause your face to appear sunken. A full set of dentures sits on top of the gums and helps full out your face and provides a younger, healthier appearance. You will also be able to eat a wider variety of foods again, which can boost your physical health as well.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures, or a bridge, are used to fill the gap left by one or more missing teeth. Although there are several types of partial dentures, the traditional porcelain fixed bridge is the most popular because it most closely resembles your natural teeth. Artificial teeth are attached to a base that is connected to crowns that fit over two of your natural teeth. The bridge fills the area of missing teeth and prevents your remaining teeth from drifting out of position.
